It's been one year since Voddie Baucham, Jr. left the land of the dying and entered the land of the living. We greatly miss our brother. He was uniquely gifted by our Lord as a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and educator. There is no replacing him. Like King David, our dear brother Voddie, "after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, fell asleep" (Acts 13:36). Though he has been taken from us, the Lord whose purpose he served so fervently and effectively, remains enthroned over all creation. We will honor Voddie's memory best as we seek to follow his example as he followed Christ—to spend our lives and to be spent making the glorious gospel of our Sovereign known throughout the world.
