Barack Obama: “We can have debates about what our marginal tax rates should be and I would argue wealthy people in this country do not pay enough in taxes and the ultra-wealthy oftentimes pay no taxes and have figured out how to game the system. But when I hear billionaires, folks who cannot spend ever a fraction of their wealth and neither can their kids or their grandkids, say they are moving to Florida because they’re trying to avoid a state tax which is a rounding error in their wealthy, there is a certain mentality there that says I should not have to give up anything.”
