The media never misses a chance to flip the script. When an illegal immigrant murdered a young woman out for a run, they ran a headline about how her killer never stood a chance. The victim became an afterthought while they worried over the outcome of a trial that was never in doubt. Now they write glowing profiles of a woman shot during an ICE operation, listing her as a mother, a poet, and a wife before anyone even hears the full facts. One story gets humanized. The other gets treated like a legal technicality. That is the double standard. They will lecture the country about compassion while downplaying the cost of open borders and second-guessing agents who enforce the law. Americans see it. That is why they should not have a seat at the table.
