14. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.2 Corinthians 13:14; KJV. This is Paul's final letter to the church at Corinth. He warns them to repent of their sins before he comes to visit, calling them and us, to examine ourselves to see if we are walking with Christ. Paul continues to exhort the church to remain in unity and peace, and he closes with a blessing. The Corinthians were seeking proof that Paul's authority came from Christ, as true spiritual authority is Christ-centered. Believers must evaluate their spiritual condition; check your heart and motives to ensure they align with Christ. Paul encouraged believers that God's truth cannot be defeated—truth always prevails—so stand firm on God's truths. We come to today's verse: Paul ends with a blessing, invoking the grace of Christ, the love of Almighty God, and fellowship with the Holy Ghost. Practical application: regularly examine your walk with Christ, stand firm on God's word, rely on God's grace and strength, and walk daily with the Holy Ghost. Lessons learned: your spiritual life grows stronger as you examine yourself, truth can never be defeated, unity brings God's peace, correction is an act of love, and all believers are sustained by God's grace, His love, and fellowship with the Holy Ghost.
