9. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Corinthians 12:9, KJV. In chapter 12, Paul speaks of a heavenly vision where he heard words he was forbidden to reveal. And he explains that to keep him from being puffed up, for all he heard in heaven a messenger from Satan, gave a physical ailment, so he would not exalt himself, this he prayed 3 times to have it removed. And we come to today's verse, God tells him, his weakness, is made perfect in the strength of Almighty God. Paul reminds the Corinthians that in their sight the works of an apostle were done among them and that he was no less an apostle than the original twelve. A practical application of chapter 12 in life is to rest in God in your weakest moments. Your trials will shape humility and dependence on God. The lessons learned are that God's grace is always sufficient, weakness reveals God's strength, and trials can protect us from arrogance. True ministry serves others. Live a life with Christ in unity and joy. There is no one like Him. Amen.
