He framed it like a company dividend after a good year—tariff cash back to the shareholders, meaning you. It would still have to go through Congress. That’s the pitch. One number. One condition. One election night. Then the Democrats turn around and offer the buffet. Free healthcare. Free college. Free housing. Free food. Just vote blue and the menu never ends. That’s not a platform. That’s a two-for-one coupon with extra hypocrisy. A one-time check to adult citizens is “buying votes.” A permanent pile of other people’s money, with no price tag and a tax bill that always arrives later.
