Piker’s suggestion that Iran possessing nuclear weapons would stabilize the Middle East ignores reality. The Iranian regime funds terrorists, pursues regional domination, and openly calls for Israel’s destruction. Giving them nukes would only increase the risk of catastrophic war.Responsible nations use nuclear deterrence to preserve peace. A theocratic dictatorship driven by apocalyptic ideology cannot be trusted with that power.Western commentators who downplay this threat put our allies and our own security at risk. Strength and clear-eyed resolve are the only path to preventing a nuclear Iran.
