Fire dropped sharply after the peak of the 2023–2024 fighting. 2025 saw only sporadic launches (typically single-digit or low-double-digit incidents per month).
Figures generally count projectiles launched toward Israel. A portion fall short inside Gaza, causing casualties among arab civilians; others are intercepted by Iron Dome; the rest land in open areas or strike populated zones.
Almost all launches have been aimed at civilian communities in southern Israel (and, during major rounds, farther north).
