🇮🇱 This Day in the History of Israel
On September 17, 1970, Jordan’s army launched a major offensive against Palestinian armed organizations operating inside the kingdom, during the conflict that became known as Black September.
The events are an important reminder that the history of Palestinian armed groups in the region was never solely a conflict with Israel. Their activities also brought them into violent confrontation with neighboring Arab governments.
