Singapore just turned on a data center that runs on living human brain cells. Not a chip that copies a brain. Actual lab-grown brain cells. They grow them from blood, put them on a chip, plug them in, and make them do computer work. Workers feed them every 3 days. They live about 6 months. Then they throw them away and grow a new batch. They say the cells are not conscious. They say this uses way less electricity than normal AI computers. So this is the future.A famous horror story once imagined a machine that could think but left people with no mouth and no way to scream. That was supposed to be fiction. Now we are growing human brain cells in racks, keeping them alive to run AI, and calling it green energy. If this becomes normal, we will treat living human tissue like another server part. Grow it. Use it. Toss it. Repeat.Skynet was supposed to be metal. Looks like the cheap version is a dish of cells that cannot scream. What could go wrong.
