18. And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:18; KJV. Paul emphasizes his hardship in ministry, the urgency of receiving Christ's grace through His sacrifice, and he calls believers to live holy lives, separate from sin and anyone or anything that would come between them and Christ the Lord. The Almighty Father promises to accept them as His sons and daughters. Paul exhorts believers to live in a way that honors God, noting that His grace should produce obedience. Salvation is not something to put off or delay; respond quickly when God speaks to your heart. God's servants should display purity, holiness, the Holy Ghost, love, truth, patience, and knowledge of God's word. Christ and evil are not compatible; avoid relationships that compromise your walk with Christ. God dwells in the believer; holiness is required because God lives in us. Treat your life as God's sacred living place. Set yourself apart from sin and remove habits or relationships that hinder your walk with Christ. The Almighty Father promises a deep, close, and loving fellowship to all who accept His Son Jesus as Savior and Lord. The lessons: Do not waste the grace of God. Ministry requires endurance and character. Joy is rooted in Christ. Believers must guard their relationships and separate from anything unholy. Almighty God the Father promises intimate fellowship with His children. Amen.
