ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMSAt the risk of seeming . . . Undiplomatic, the Consulate's host community has a lot of jerks. While Tennessee is a bit freer than the other places we have lived, a noticeable fraction of the population uses that freedom to be bad neighbors.Sort of like a good looking girl using "pretty priviledge" to get away with being mean.But then, there's disagreeable folk of one stripe or another pretty much everywhere else. The other day, it occured to us that what oft' appears to be a desire to find someplace "better", is really just a desire to find someplace different. 'Cause sometimes, the devil you know is Not better.
