23. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.1 Corinthians 16:23; KJV. This chapter ties together the entire book with a call to love, order, generosity, and spiritual strength. Paul instructs the church to help needy believers; giving is a part of worshipping God; some of God's people need a helping hand. Paul explains his travel plans; a door was opened, making a great opportunity for ministry, but it came with many adversaries. Opened doors do not mean the way is easy. God is with you even when you are challenged. Paul urges the church to accept Timothy; even though he is young, he serves the Lord without fear. Christian life requires vigilance; do all things in love, in words and actions. Christian fellowship is warm and affectionate; be someone who encourages and refreshes others. Paul is clear: if any refuse Christ, they are cut off and cursed; rejecting Christ is serious. We come to today's verse, and I share it with you, as Paul shared with the church: the grace of Christ be with you all. Depend on God's grace daily. Application to Christian life: donate to God's work, encourage pastors and teachers, and new believers. Stay alert spiritually, letting love rule your behavior. Build unity, and refresh others with kindness. The lesson: Giving is part of worship; ministry needs to be supported and encouraged. Spiritual vigilance is essential; love must guide every action. God's grace sustains all Christian living. Amen.
