Look at these children and this young woman. Cora, Dawson, Callan and Laken Riley never got the chance to grow up or live the lives they deserved. Their smiles were stolen in acts of unimaginable violence.One was killed by her own mother, who now has supporters raising money and making excuses. The other was murdered by an illegal immigrant who never should have been in this country. Yet certain voices rush to defend the guilty while the victims fade from view.These families paid the price for failed policies and misplaced priorities. Justice means remembering the innocent first and refusing to look away from who really suffered. They deserved protection, not this ending.
