55. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?1 Corinthians 15:55; KJV. Paul is teaching in chapter 15:29-58, that our future resurrection from death is our hope in Christ Jesus. We will have transformed bodies, glorious and immortal. Christ has guaranteed this promise because His sacrifice defeated sin and death for all believers. Death has no power over a believer, forever defeated in Christ. This is our hope, and we should remain steadfast and faithful because the reward is sure. So, live a life sure of your reward. Serve Christ with faithfulness, joy, and purpose. Avoid any influence that weakens your spiritual walk. The lesson: Resurrection gives meaning to our suffering and service. Guard your walk; bad influences corrupt spiritual life. God transforms a believer completely, body and soul. Christ has removed all fear of death with His promise to raise us from death with a body that will last for eternity. This eternal hope strengthens our daily faithfulness. Amen.
