Seeing boxes of support letters for Lindsay Clancy in court is deeply disturbing. She strangled her three young children. Their lives should come first, not public sympathy for their killer.Her defense rests on postpartum psychosis and claims of poor treatment. She attempted suicide afterward and is paralyzed. Mental illness is real, but it cannot erase the horror of murdering defenseless kids who trusted their mother.The jury should focus on the victims, not fan mail. Accountability matters. We cannot excuse the destruction of innocent lives no matter the circumstances.
