Paul is concerned with saving as many as possible; let not our actions or words discourage a new believer. Keep our eyes on the eternal reward, for it cannot be earned, but it can be discarded by choosing worldly things over Christ. A few examples: be careful what you participate in; some things carry spiritual judgment. Pagan worship aligns people with demonic powers and influence. Spiritual neutrality does not exist; you are either with Christ, or you are out. You cannot mix Christ with worldly views because they are not compatible. God takes loyalty very seriously. We come to today's verse: live in a way that draws others to Christ. The lesson: Idols are nothing, but idolatry demands judgment. Your actions must be guided by love; your choices affect others' spiritual growth. Everything you do should honor God. Amen.
