Justice has finally caught up with a Democrat who thought her title made her untouchable. When elected officials physically interfere with federal agents doing their job securing our borders, they must face the same consequences as any other citizen. No special privileges for those who slam into officers trying to enforce immigration law.This ruling sends a clear message that the rule of law still applies in America. Assaulting ICE agents during an operation is not “oversight.” It is a crime that endangers the men and women who protect our communities every day. Soft-on-crime politicians have enabled chaos for too long.Accountability is long overdue. Members of Congress are not above the law, and the American people deserve representatives who respect our law enforcement rather than attack them. Prison time would be a fitting reminder that actions have consequences.
