Yesterday, Dolly Parton earned her heavenly coat of many colors. Stitched together with every song that gave someone hope, every book she placed in a child’s hands, every smile she inspired, and every act of kindness she shared so freely. I can only imagine Jesus welcoming her home, wrapping that beautiful coat around her shoulders, and saying, “Well done.” East Tennessee lost one of its brightest lights yesterday, but Heaven gained a little more sparkle. Rest peacefully, Dolly. We will always love you.
