ALEXANDER VINDMAN LOSES IN FLORIDACartoon published 08/20/2026Alex Vindman, whom Trump called a ‘treasonous creep,” lost in the Florida Democrat Senate Primary to a socialist (DSA) candidate named Angie Nixon.Vindman is a retired Army lieutenant colonel and “whistleblower” on President Trump in 2019, which led impeachment proceedings by the Democrats. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer helped Vindman shape testimony that Trump somehow violated the law in a phone call to Ukraine’s President Zelensky.Schumer helped Vindman again by raising $16 million for his campaign, and the polls said he’d win easily. After all, he also had name recognition working in his favor. Still, Nixon beat him despite being outspent 16-to1—and the socialists handed Schumer another loss. The DSA seems to be taking over the Democrat Party.The traditional Democrats don’t seem to be fighting the DSA with enough vigor. That’s probably because they agree with many of the socialists’ goals. They supported Obama who said he wanted to fundamentally change America. Well, that’s what the socialists want, too—but the word ‘change’ can be replaced with ‘destroy.’The Republican opponents should have plenty of material to use against their socialist opponents, but they should not take them for granted. After all, a generation of young people apparently hasn’t studied history and are ignorant of the evils socialism brings. The siren song of ‘free stuff’ is very strong.Regardless of how successful the socialists may be in the midterms, ‘old guard’ Democrats like Schumer are on their way out, even if he can’t see it clearly just yet. ~Ben Garrison & The GrrrTeam
