She went to a Home Depot with $200 provided by a confidential source and bought materials she believed would be used to build a bomb.She planned to hide the device inside a DoorDash bag and detonate it while state senators were meeting. Bowie was arrested after taking possession of an inert device from undercover sources. Authorities say she also discussed future attacks targeting Times Square, the White House, and the president.
