“Democrats for Mike Rogers” signs are popping up across Michigan, proving that party loyalty has limits when the alternative is a candidate steeped in radical ideology. Ordinary voters who once stayed in lockstep are breaking ranks because they recognize the danger of elevating someone whose politics fuse socialist economics with open hostility to American cultural and legal norms.
The refusal is not subtle. Michiganders are making clear they will not hand a Senate seat to a figure whose record prioritizes grievance, identity politics, and policies that undermine the very society that allowed him to rise. Crossing party lines to stop that outcome is a direct rejection of the idea that any ideology, no matter how extreme, must be accommodated in the name of diversity.
This kind of pushback is exactly what sovereignty looks like in practice. When citizens decide that protecting their communities, their laws, and their way of life matters more than tribal politics, the message is unmistakable. Leaders who put America first will always find support once the alternative is exposed for what it truly is.
