This cartoon perfectly captures the meltdown happening inside the Democratic Party right now.Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville, the man who helped put Bill Clinton in the White House in 1992, went on Jesse Watters Primetime Monday and unloaded on the far left flank of his own party.He called members of the Democratic Socialists of America a pack of fools, a bunch of silly people that no one pays attention to. The fight started in Florida.Oliver Larkin, a 33 year old veteran of Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign, is the only DSA endorsed candidate running in a competitive swing House district. He is challenging moderate Democrat Jared Moskowitz in Florida's newly drawn 25th District. Larkin told Fox News that democratic socialism can win in any district and it may be time for Carville to take a back seat.Carville fired back that every DSA member has a motor mouth, and Larkin fits right in. While I rarely agree with James Carville, he nails this one.Democrat politicians and voters are fools for picking DSA candidates in their party's primary.Carville recognizes what many establishment Democrats will not say out loud, the DSA will eat the party whole if they let it.And DSA types cannot win a general election outside of deep blue enclaves like New York or Chicago.Most Americans reject the idea of fundamentally altering our Constitution, packing the Supreme Court, ending the Electoral College, and socialism in general.They do not want open borders, defunding the police, and government control of everything from health care to energy.For the good of the country, we hope Democrats go to war with the DSA and boot them out of their party.That said, we are skeptical.Ideologically the two sides are not that far apart, Democrats just hide it better.Do you think Democrats will actually stand up to the DSA, or will they cave to the far left like they always do?
