George Conway, in tears, says he gave up nearly $1 million of his children’s inheritance to help Biden because he wanted them to inherit a democracy, not the money.He says he was driving to a Democratic fundraiser in 2024 with a $929,600 check for the Biden Victory Fund when he became so emotional that he had to pull over.Conway said he realized the money would otherwise have gone to his children as part of their inheritance, but decided supporting Biden was more important.“I want my kids to inherit a democracy.”He says he wiped away his tears, drove to the fundraiser, and gave Biden’s victory fund the check.
