Joe Biden carried twenty-five states in 2020, yet every one of them has refused to share complete voter rolls with the Department of Justice. Officials are now suing roughly thirty states simply to obtain the basic registration data required under federal law.Those same states produced more than eighty-one million votes for him. If the lists were accurate and the process transparent, there would be little reason to fight federal requests for inspection.Election integrity depends on openness, not obstruction. When states dig in to keep the records hidden, it only deepens legitimate concerns about what may be found once the rolls are finally examined.
