Lynsi Snyder did not just defend the verses on the packaging, she added more. That is the part critics tend to miss. The tradition was not something she inherited and left alone under pressure. She put Proverbs 24:16 on the fry boats herself. She put Luke 6:35 on the coffee cups. Proverbs 24:16 is the one about a righteous man falling seven times and rising again. She has spoken publicly about losing her father as a teenager and about her own dark years afterwards. So when critics demand she remove the Bible verses from In-N-Out packaging, some of what they want gone is not her uncle's work at all. They are asking her to take down the lines she picked herself, after the years she picked them for. That is why the backlash has moved her exactly nowhere. Sources: Christian Post, Snopes
