The WNBA’s inability to define what a woman is reveals just how far common sense has been abandoned in the name of ideology. Women’s sports exist because of undeniable biological differences that give males inherent advantages in strength, speed, and size. Pretending otherwise puts actual female athletes at a permanent disadvantage and turns competitive leagues into something unrecognizable.When an organization created specifically for women cannot even agree on the basic category that justifies its existence, the entire enterprise loses credibility. Fans notice. Sponsors notice. Players who trained their entire lives for fair competition notice most of all.Biology is not bigotry. Protecting the integrity of women’s athletics requires acknowledging reality, not endless meetings that end in deliberate confusion. Until that happens, the product on the court will keep suffering and the audience will keep walking away.
