Foreign-born politicians who arrived as adults or refugees now hold seats in Congress and push policies that prioritize global agendas over American workers. They advocate open borders, defund police, and criticize the nation that gave them opportunity while rarely acknowledging the privileges they enjoy here.No reciprocal arrangement exists. Americans cannot simply move to India, Egypt, or Somalia and run for high office. Citizenship and representation should reflect deep roots in this country’s history, culture, and constitutional order.Voters deserve leaders whose primary loyalty is to the United States, not to ancestral homelands or international causes. Protecting the integrity of our elections and institutions starts with ensuring those who govern truly belong to the people they claim to represent.
