These young girls should be free to learn and grow without being forced to cover their hair just to keep adult men from temptation. Placing that burden on children so early exposes a troubling attitude toward both girls and male self-control.In our country we raise boys to take responsibility for their own actions instead of restricting little ones from the start. True strength means teaching restraint and respect, not hiding the innocent behind fabric.Any belief system that demands this level of covering from children stands at odds with the liberty and equal dignity that define America. Practices like these have no rightful place taking hold among us.
