A 38-year-old man named Jeanine was arrested Sunday at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.This was after federal agents spotted him acting suspiciously on the property just days before President Trump’s scheduled visit.Jeanine John Taele was observed walking the grounds, taking photographs and video, and appearing to monitor security planning activities. Deputies found a loaded magazine with hollow-point ammunition in his pants pocket. A search of his vehicle turned up a loaded pistol with a round in the chamber and additional hollow-point ammunition.A subsequent search of Taele’s home recovered an illegally modified AR-style rifle, a 1911 .45-caliber handgun, body armor, high-capacity magazines, bulk ammunition, two radio signal devices, and notebooks containing what investigators described as “concerning statements.”Taele was already under investigation for robbery by El Segundo police. He was booked on charges of carrying a concealed firearm and possession of prohibited ammunition. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is involved in the ongoing investigation.Once again, a heavily armed individual was stopped near a location the president was about to visit. Law enforcement intervention prevented whatever he may have intended.
