8. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.Romans 4:8; KJV. Paul has experienced this verse on a personal level. He is teaching from his experience. He speaks of Abraham being told he would be a father of nations when he and his wife were close to 100 years of age. And Abraham believed God, not considering his physical condition, and God declared him righteous because he believed God's word. Now, for some, it is easier to believe a man can have children being almost 100 years old. Rather, than their sins are forgiven because Christ took their place on the cross. Yet God's word is pure and true, no matter what He speaks about. And if we believe that Christ took our sins on His body at Calvary, and He was raised from death, then we shall be delivered from our sins, and we shall rise on the last day to our reward, being justified in Christ's blood. Amen.
