Saturday July 25, 2026…In the village of Arnol during the Hebrides Revival (1949 to 1952), a small group of believers gathered in a cottage to pray through the night. As the meeting deepened, one man stood and boldly reminded God of His promise from Isaiah 44:3: “I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground.” He cried out, “Lord, You promised, and You’re not doing it!” That moment was a holy confrontation, not in arrogance but in great desperation. Suddenly, the entire house began to physically shake. Dishes rattled, jugs fell from shelves, and the walls trembled. Those present were overwhelmed by the tangible presence of God It echoed the moment described in Acts 4:31, when the early Church prayed and “the place was shaken where they were assembled together.” Immediately afterward, people across the village began waking from sleep under deep conviction. Some wept beside their beds while others stumbled outside into the night, falling to their knees in fields or along roadsides, crying out to God for mercy, unaware of what had just happened in the prayer meeting.As Duncan Campbell and the others made their way to the church, they found it already filled to capacity. No meeting had been announced, but people had been drawn there by an unseen pull. The service lasted until four in the morning, filled with weeping, repentance, and powerful conversions. Outside the building, others stood along the roadside or prayed in barns and homes, overcome by the weight of God's presence. In the days that followed, revival swept through neighboring villages, and in some areas, nearly every household was touched by the Spirit of God.
