Iran had every opportunity to choose a different future.
President Trump offered the Iranian regime a reasonable path forward, abandon its nuclear ambitions, stop funding terrorism, end its attacks on American interests, and rejoin the community of nations.
Iran could have protected its people, rebuilt its economy, and ended decades of unnecessary isolation.
Instead, the regime chose fanaticism.
That has been the pattern for decades.
Iran’s rulers make promises when they are under pressure, accept relief when it benefits them, then return to deception, terrorism, and their radical Islamic agenda as soon as the pressure fades.
A deal is meaningless when only one side intends to honor it.
The Iranian regime has used negotiations to buy time while financing terrorist proxies, developing missiles, threatening Israel, attacking American troops, and crushing dissent at home.
Its leaders do not want peaceful coexistence. They want survival for their revolution and domination of the region, regardless of how many Iranians suffer in the process.
That is why another temporary agreement will not solve this problem.
Iran’s people deserve better than poverty, repression, religious tyranny, and endless war.
They deserve the freedom to choose their own leaders, speak openly, practice their faith, and build a future without the Islamic Revolutionary Guard controlling every part of their lives.
The distinction matters. The Iranian people are not America’s enemy. The radical regime ruling over them is.
For years, the world has tried sanctions, negotiations, warnings, concessions, and carefully worded condemnations. Iran answered with broken commitments, new threats, and more violence.
Enough is enough.
The threat must now be removed once and for all. Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities must be dismantled, its terrorist networks must be destroyed, and its people must finally be given a chance to free themselves from the dictatorship that has held them hostage since 1979.
How many more broken promises should the world accept before recognizing that lasting peace requires the end of Iran’s radical Islamic regime?
