CANADA’S PM CARNEY BLOWS SMOKE
Cartoon Published 07/19/2026
While Americans in the Northeast are coughing through another wave of Canadian wildfire smoke, Mark Carney is out there puffing on his giant “Climate Change” cigarette while pretending it’s America’s fault.
Smokey the bear is choking on Canada’s air quality mistakes.
Decades of terrible forest management in Canada — letting fuel loads build up, prioritizing green ideology over actual land stewardship — have turned their forests into tinderboxes. (Gavin Newsom did the same in California) Now the wind is blowing the consequences straight into the United States, choking our air and disrupting lives.
And what’s Carney’s response? More lectures about “climate change,” of course. The same guy who helped push the policies that made this worse is now pretending the smoke is America’s fault for not surrendering our economy fast enough.
Meanwhile, President Trump is calling it like he sees it: enough with the virtue-signaling and poor management. America shouldn’t have to keep inhaling the results of Canada’s incompetence while they lecture us about emissions.
This cartoon says it all — Canada’s leadership is smoking something, and the rest of us are getting the second-hand effects.
Poor forest management isn’t “climate change.” It’s bad policy with real consequences.
Letting detritus build up in the forest isn’t ‘preserving nature.’ It’s allowing nature to use lightning strikes to burn it all down like it has done throughout history. If we want to preserve land and air for humans, then forest management is critical. It’s time for our neighbors to the north to realize this and manage their land like adults instead of using every fire as an excuse to demand more global control.
