One party's entire story.This cartoon is really telling, and every American who remembers what the Democrat party used to be should take a long look at it.In 1950, that party belonged to the farmer and the factory man. Work, faith, family, country. Those were not slogans. They were a way of life, and Democrats claimed to defend it.By 1970, it was the union hall and the hard hat. You could disagree with them, but you knew what they stood for. They built things.Then came 2000, and the suit showed up. Wall Street money, global markets, trade deals that shipped the jobs overseas while the donor class cashed in. The blue collar worker got left on the side of the road.By 2023, the party had traded the working man for the parade. Identity politics became the whole platform. Anyone who raised a hand and asked a common sense question got called a bigot and shown the door.And now look at 2026. The hammer and sickle is on the shirt. Eat the rich. Equity, not equality. The socialists did not break down the door. They were handed the keys.Here is the hard truth. Traditional Democrats lost the farm. Voters rejected the radicalism, and instead of regrouping, the party just screamed louder. They stand for nothing anymore, so something worse moved in to fill the void.They were so obsessed with defeating one man, so busy protecting their version of "democracy," that they let the real enemy inside the gates. And that enemy is gaining traction because it has a platform and the old guard does not.It is wrong. It will wreck this country if it wins. But it proves a lesson the Founders understood and conservatives had better remember.You have to be FOR something. A party that only screams eventually gets replaced by one that believes.
