The store even switched on international shipping for the first time. His $750 raccoon statue started the whole thing.Haaland fully embraced the United States during Norway's World Cup run. He uploaded YouTube videos documenting his time across Texas. At the country store he splashed out on plenty of gear. Cowboy hats, boots, t-shirts went home for staff too.After Norway's exit to England, he flew home holding that raccoon. He has even asked fans to help decide on its name now. The memento itself spread everywhere almost immediately. Now the store behind it is riding that very same wave.Owner Julie Newport described the whole surge to The Athletic. "We are somewhere around 2,000 online orders right now," she said. About 30 percent of those come from international customers. More arrive every single morning without fail.The international option simply did not exist before his visit. Newport said they had never turned that ability on. Customers now pose for shots in the exact spots he did. "We've set up a picture of him, which has become a shrine," she added.
