England has undergone a profound demographic and cultural shift over the past three decades. The Muslim population in England and Wales now stands at roughly 6.5%, more than 4 million people across the UK. Nearly half of British Muslims are under 25, driven by sustained high immigration from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, and other Muslim-majority countries plus higher birth rates.This change did not happen by accident. Successive governments, starting under Tony Blair’s Labour, opened the doors to large-scale migration while promoting multiculturalism that rejected assimilation. Political correctness became the enforcer. Inquiries into Rotherham, Rochdale, Telford, and other towns documented systematic sexual exploitation of thousands of mostly white working-class girls by networks overwhelmingly made up of men of Pakistani Muslim heritage. Authorities tippexed out ethnicity data, ignored victims, and suppressed reports to protect “community cohesion.” Multiple reviews, including Baroness Casey’s audit, confirmed that political correctness and fear of racism accusations allowed the abuse to continue for years.Parallel societies have taken root in cities like parts of Birmingham, Bradford, and Tower Hamlets. Sharia councils operate for family and civil matters. Public criticism of Islamic practices, blasphemy, or integration failures is often met with accusations of Islamophobia that chill free speech. Mass protests after October 7 showed open support for radical causes in the streets of London while police and politicians hesitated.The result is a slow erosion of British identity, rising social friction, strained welfare systems, and declining trust. Decades of elite denial, open borders, and enforced silence created the conditions for these parallel communities and the problems that came with them.
