The Blue-winged Laughingthrush 22-26cm
shy, non-migratory bird native to the forests of the eastern Himalayas. Because they are shy, best located by listening for their loud, high-pitched whistles rather than looking for them. They are usually seen in pairs or small family groups near the ground.
