While investigators continue to determine the physical causes, Bible prophecy points to a deeper spiritual lesson. The Bible uses wine as a symbol of false teachings that intoxicate the nations and lead people away from God's truth. 📖 Key Prophetic Lessons 🍷 The Wine of Babylon – Revelation 17:2; 18:3 warns that all nations have been made drunk with Babylon's wine, representing false doctrines and spiritual deception. 🏺 The Golden Cup – Revelation 17:4 describes Babylon holding a golden cup full of abominations. Christ, however, offers the cup of salvation (Psalm 116:13). 🚪 Jesus Is the Only Door – Many sought an emergency exit, reminding us that Jesus declared, "I am the door" (John 10:9). He is the only way of salvation. 🌫️ Smoke and Darkness – The smoke that filled the building reminds us of spiritual darkness.
