Investigators found she served only a fraction of that. Separately, she ran up $𝟒.𝟔 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 in claims through Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program — becoming the single largest CCAP recipient in the state last year — by deliberately waiving the co-pay families were required to pay, which incentivized more families to sign up under her (Fox 9).The day she notified the state her daycare was closing, she booked a flight to London. The FBI arrested her before she could leave.
