Garbage truck driver Aaron Kinsel was completing his usual route in Ohio when something on the side of the road caught his attention.It was a discarded backpack.But then Aaron noticed it moving.He immediately stopped his truck and went to investigate.Inside the backpack was a frightened 10 week old boxer mix puppy.She had been abandoned.The tiny puppy was dehydrated and suffering from a broken leg.Aaron carefully pulled her from the bag and wrapped her in a sweatshirt to keep her warm.With help from his coworkers, the puppy was quickly taken to a veterinarian for treatment.But Aaron's kindness didn't end with the rescue.After helping save the puppy's life, Aaron and his family made a beautiful decision.They adopted her.The family named their new puppy “Tipper,” after the lifting mechanism on the back of a garbage truck.Aaron believes he was meant to find her that day.His employer also praised him for going above and beyond and simply choosing to do the right thing.Tipper began that day frightened and injured inside a backpack on the side of the road.But one garbage truck driver noticed something others might have missed.He stopped.He looked closer.And he gave a helpless puppy more than a second chance at life.He gave her a forever home.
