At least 12 Orthodox Christians were killed in Ethiopia’s Arsi Zone after a wave of attacks devastated several Christian communities. Families were forced from their homes, properties were burned, and more than 280 people were reportedly displaced. One of the most heartbreaking losses was the 101-year-old Telata St. Gabriel Church, a historic place of worship that was burned to the ground. For generations, that church stood as a witness of faith, prayer, and Christian identity in the region. These believers are now grieving lives lost, homes destroyed, and a church reduced to ashes, yet the story is also a reminder to pray for persecuted Christians who are still holding on to Christ under pressure. Ethiopia has one of the world’s oldest Christian histories, and these brothers and sisters need the global Church to remember them.#jesus #faith #Ethiopia
