Many times in the past, Lord, I’ve chosen the pathway of least resistance; the easy way out. I have chosen silence and disengagement when I should have chosen action and encouragement. I have kept my mouth closed when my Brother or Sister needed me to help or needed me to speak up in their defense. I didn’t want to get in the middle of someone else’s problems, Lord, when I needed to act and help. Forgive me and help me to do better with this in the future. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
