It took Lenin a while to take over Russia.
First he had to take over his party and get them all to align with his ideology
Then he set the lower class against the upper class
Next he promised free "Peace, Land, and Bread"
By the time the people realized it was all lies he was firmly in power and communism lasted in Russia for 74 years
