China treats lsIam as a mental illness, not a religion. These reports are confirmed by the UN, humanitarian groups, and prisoners themselves. Officials in CHlNA justify the camps by noting there have been no terrorist attacks in Xinjiang since the camp launched claiming it as proof the program nipped extremism in the bud. Strangely, nobody at the UN or in the media ever refers to CHlNA as lsIamophobic.
