“WE’RE ON A MISSION FROM ALLAH” Cartoon Published 06/17/2026 Who won the war with Iran? Some anti-America propagandists say Iran won. Nope—Iran clearly lost. Their country suffered significant damage. Their missile production capability was destroyed. The US and Israel controlled their airspace. The US Navy’s blockade in the Persian Gulf was, for the most part, left unchallenged by Iran and it prevented their oil sales. Iran’s regime would have become less stable when it could not pay their own troops. President Trump said the Iranian leaders are ’strong,’ and ’smart. He said he never cared about regime change in Iran. He said this after destroying several tiers of their leadership, but Iran is decentralized and new leaders instantly take control. Those leaders control the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and modern weapons including drones. Other leaders are the mullahs who carry on the medievalism. It’s a strange mixture to be sure—and a dangerous one. Iran is currently predicated on the destruction of Israel and America. They have suffered a setback, but their goal remains alive. They may be smart, but their theocracy is irrational. The regime spends much of its money on war and funding proxies that terrorize Israel. Meanwhile, their citizens are running out of water. The regime can only be stopped with boots on the ground and Trump won’t do that—our country has had enough of forever wars. Still, one thing has been made clear—the surrounding Muslim countries actually sided with Israel against Iran and that’s progress. Iran lost the initial battle, but that doesn’t mean they won’t keep fighting. After all, they’re on a mission from Allah. Meanwhile, we saw the old Iranian flag—the Persian flag—being waved at Iran’s World Cup soccer match. It featured the lion on it and most Iranian expats want an end to the theocracy. Many inside Iran want regime change as well, but the IRGC and the mullahs are willing to wipe out as many of their citizens as it takes to retain power. — The GrrrTeam
