An elderly woman boarded a crowded city bus, found a seat, and quietly settled in. At the very next stop, a young woman got on. She appeared stressed and in a hurry. She aggressively dropped herself into the empty seat right next to the older woman. Laden with heavy shopping bags, she carelessly swung them around, repeatedly hitting the elderly woman on the shoulder. Yet the older woman remained completely unfazed. She didn't say a word. Surprised by the lack of reaction, the young woman finally asked, "Why didn't you say anything when my bags kept hitting you?" The elderly woman offered a warm, gentle smile and replied, "There's no reason to get upset or argue over something so minor. You see, my journey beside you is very short. I'm getting off at the next stop."
