This is the 23-year-old Syrian asylum seeker who randomly stabbed passersby in Austria, Villach on 15 February 2025. A 14-year-old boy was killed and five others (young men) were wounded.He was stopped by a delivery driver who rammed him with his car after seeing the attack. The attacker was arrested moments later.Photos show him smiling and laughing as police confronted him, right after murdering a child in cold blood.Austrian authorities confirmed this was an Islamist attack inspired by the Islamic State. The perpetrator had sworn allegiance to IS.David J Harris Jr@Outcome of the case:An Austrian court sentenced the 24-year-old Syrian man to life in prison on May 27, 2026, after a jury found him guilty of all charges including murder and terrorism offenses. When asked by the judge whether he would commit the crime again if given the opportunity, the defendant nodded. 😱The court took into account the surprise method of the attack, the presence of minors among the victims, the absence of regret, the religious motive, and the risk of reoffending. So Life sentence, no remorse.
