God calls us to build lives of honest work and generosity.
Too many today would rather take from others than create or labor for themselves.
This way of thinking goes against the heart of Scripture.
From the beginning, God gave us work to do.
He placed Adam in the garden to tend it.
The Bible teaches that if anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat.
Hard work honors the Lord and blesses those around us.
Instead of envying or demanding what belongs to someone else, we can trust God to provide as we do our part.
Jesus showed us a better way, serving others with His hands and giving His life for us.
When we work diligently and voluntarily share what we have, we live out real faith.
Let us choose to build and give freely, just as our Savior did.
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men" (Colossians 3:23).
