History is not a buffet where you get to pick and choose what you like.When I see, I am reminded that the past is a teacher, not an enemy.Erasing the evidence of what happened doesn't make us more enlightened.It just makes us less prepared for the future.We should be wise enough to learn from the mistakes of those before us.Wisdom comes from understanding the full story, not just the parts that make us comfortable.
